Tottenham Hotspur have been busy over the last two transfer windows, with Ange Postecoglou wasting no time in bolstering his ranks.

Indeed, Spurs were one of the few Premier League clubs that were active during the January window, with many other clubs laying low due to FFP constraints.

Tottenham pulled off a couple of coups in January, beating both Bayern Munich and Barcelona to the signings of two young talents.

Spurs beat the Bavarians to the signing of Radu Dragusin before wrapping up the month by signing Lucas Bergvall ahead of the Blaugrana.

Now, a report from Sweden has revealed how much the 18-year-old prodigy is set to earn at Tottenham.

A couple of months ago, Fotball Direkt claimed that Bergvall will earn SEK 18million (£1.3million) per year at Tottenham without bonuses.

However, Fotboll Direkt have now reported that the figures are higher than they previously thought.

How much is Lucas Bergvall reportedly set to earn at Tottenham Hotspur?

They claim that Bergvall will earn SEK 22million (£1.6million) per year at Spurs, which works out at around £30,800-per-week.

They’ve described it as ‘enormous money’, which, from a Swedish football perspective and for an 18-year-old prodigy, it’s certainly a high amount.

Spurs clearly rate Bergvall highly, and lucky for them, the Premier League’s financial muscle means that a contract in the region of £31,000-a-week is pretty much a drop in the ocean for a top club.

Tottenham have struck gold in recent years with the likes of Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie, Dejan Kulusevski and Guglielmo Vicario.

Could the ‘incredible‘ Bergvall be the latest to break into the Spurs squad and become a first-teamer at a young age? It’ll be exciting to see how he fares when he arrives at N17 in pre-season.
