Roy Keane has backed Tottenham Hotspur to give Arsenal a 'mad game' this weekend. Ange Postecoglou and Mikel Arteta will lock horns on Sunday afternoon as the Lilywhites looks to climb the Premier League table while the Gunners hope to defend first place.

Arsenal will be determined to extend their two-game winning streak following impressive victories over Wolves and Chelsea. Following Liverpool's defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening, the Gunners are now three points clear of Jurgen Klopp's side at the top of the table.

As for Tottenham, they've had nearly two weeks on the training pitches at Hotspur Way to lick their wounds after a 4-0 defeat to Newcastle United. The demolition at St James' Park dealt the Lilywhites a major blow to their hopes of securing Champions League qualification.

But, Postecoglou's side have two games in hand over fourth-placed Aston Villa to make up their six-point deficit. Despite a lengthy break, Keane has backed Tottenham to fly out of the gates on Sunday.

The former Manchester United midfielder believes Arsenal will drop points in the north London derby one way or another. Speaking on the Stick to Football Podcast, Keane said: "I think Spurs will get a result. I think 1-1- or 2-1 Spurs, I don’t think Arsenal will win. It could be a mad game and Spurs could turn up."

Meanwhile, speaking on Sky Sports, Gary Neville has also predicted a feisty affair. The former Red Devils defender said: "Arsenal cannot be shocked on Sunday. It’s going to be potentially almost like a bloodbath in the first 15/20 minutes.

"The Tottenham fans don’t want Arsenal to win the league. I’ve just been in London so much in the last few weeks. I go in the black cabs all the time and if you bump into a Tottenham fan they’ll say, ‘who do you think will win the league?’

"And I’ll go, ‘sorry, I hope Arsenal probably win it because you know, City and Liverpool.’ And they’ll go, ‘I hope not!’ Like that type of feeling exists."
