£30m Chelsea player can be match-winner today, he outshone Cole Palmer in Tottenham win

Chelsea will be looking to build on their 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur when they take on West Ham United later today.

The Blues have the chance to overtake Manchester United, who occupy the final European football spot, so really need a win.

Cole Palmer has often been Chelsea‘s match-winner this season, so Mauricio Pochettino will be relying on the attacker.

However, one of his teammates also has the ability to guide Pochettino’s men to all three points later.

Cole Palmer has been Chelsea’s match-winner this season

Scoring 20 goals in 29 Premier League appearances, Palmer has been Chelsea’s saviour in the current campaign.

The 21-year-old has single-handedly won so many games for them this season.

Without Palmer, Chelsea would not be in contention for a European football spot right now. In fact, they would probably be in the relegation zone.

It would not be a surprise, then, if he won another game for Pochettino’s side later.

There is another Chelsea star, though, who also looks capable of winning all three points for the Blues in their London derby.

Noni Madueke can be Chelsea’s match-winner against West Ham

Noni Madueke has been one of Chelsea’s most effective players in the second half of this season.

He was really good last time out against Tottenham, even outshining Palmer.

For example, according to WhoScored, the winger completed five dribbles in his side’s 2-0 win against their London rivals, the most in the match and one more than what Palmer managed.

Under David Moyes, West Ham defend really deep at times and can be extremely difficult to break down. But Madueke has the kind of trickery to get past defenders and make things happen.

The England U21 international has also shown recently that he can cut in from the right before curling the ball into the back of the net with his left foot, doing so in a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United last month.

Madueke or Palmer, then, could be the man to win Chelsea all three points later.

Chelsea have obviously made some very expensive signings in their history, especially of late, but Madueke only cost £30m. It was a really good deal.
