Tottenham Hotspur could be tempted to sell one of their highest-paid players this summer if a big offer arrives.

Ange Postecoglou has done a tremendous job at Spurs since taking charge of the club, hasn’t he?

The atmosphere at Tottenham at the end of last season was toxic. Their side had just gone through a terrible season, and Antonio Conte had left them in a real mess.

There were a few doubters when Postecoglou was given the job, but he has silenced all his critics. Tottenham are now in a good position to make it into the Champions League next season, and that would be an excellent achievement.

Irrespective of what happens this summer, Spurs are expected to be very active in the transfer window, and there are a few players who could leave the club.

Daniel Levy could make surprise Richarlison decision at Tottenham

Tottenham signed Richarlison from Everton in the summer of 2022 in a £60 million deal (Sky Sports).

The Brazilian had a really difficult debut season in North London. He scored just once in the Premier League all season and came under a ton of criticism as a result.

Richarlison’s form in front of goal has been much better this time around.

The 26-year-old has scored 11 times so far this season, 10 of which have come in the Premier League.

He went on an incredible run between December and early February, where he found the net on nine occasions in the space of eight games.

The big problem for Richarlison this season, however, has been injuries.

The former Watford man had to spend three separate spells on the sidelines this season. He has missed six games as a result and it’s still unclear whether he will be fit for the North London derby on Sunday.

Alasdair Gold had his say on the players who could leave Tottenham at the end of this season, and he made a surprise claim about Richarlison.

On Football London, the journalist claimed that bids could come in for the Brazil international, who has been of interest to clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Even though his performances this season have been really good, it has been claimed that ‘a big money bid after his injury-enforced absences this season could tempt’ Daniel Levy to cash in on him.

Tottenham’s top five highest-paid players

Daniel Levy is one of the best negotiators in the game, and a look at Tottenham players’ salaries will show you how good a job he has done.

Following Harry Kane‘s departure last summer, skipper Heung-min Son is the highest-paid player at Tottenham.

Richarlison now ranks joint-second on the list along with Cristian Romero after Ivan Persic went to Hajduk Split in the January transfer window. The Croatian is earning a base salary of just €1 there (90min).

James Maddison is next on the list, followed by Dejan Kulusevski.

Here’s a look at Tottenham’s five highest-paid players right now, as per SalarySport.

Weekly wages Annual salary
Heung-min Son £197,000 £10,244,000
Richarlison £175,000 £9,100,000
Cristian Romero £175,000 £9,100,000
James Maddison £170,000 £8,840,000
Dejan Kulusevski £140,000 £7,280,000
