Arsenal secured one of their biggest wins of the season last night against Chelsea, with Martin Odegaard the star behind the performance.

The 25-year-old midfielder was at his absolute best as the former Real Madrid star pulled all the strings for Arsenal in what was a five-star display for the Gunners against Chelsea, with Odegaard bagging two assists on the night and winning praise from fans.

With Kai Havertz and Ben White both scoring braces, it was a fantastic occasion for Arsenal, who at the time writing now sit three points clear at the top of the Premier League with four games left to play this season.

Odegaard’s legacy could already have surpassed Ozil’s in north London

Ozil remains a divisive figure at Arsenal, with the fanbase still split on where they stand the former Germany international even three years after his departure from north London.

Which is why Odegaard’s legacy at Arsenal might have already surpassed that of Ozil’s, with the Emirates Stadium skipper only missing silverware during his time with the Gunners under Arteta.

Should this change this season with the Premier League title, Odegaard would cement himself as an Arsenal legend, a status Ozil failed to really achieve despite some bright moments under Arsene Wenger.
