Arsenal are reportedly receiving interest from Saudi Arabia for one of their players just days after a brilliant performance against Chelsea.

The Gunners are off the back of an incredible 5-0 win against their London rivals, with Arsenal now sitting three points clear at the top of the Premier League with Liverpool losing last night against Everton as Manchester City prepare to face Brighton & Hove Albion tonight.

With the likes of Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz winning praise for their performances against Chelsea, it was quite the display from Arsenal, who going into Sunday’s North London Derby are now full of confidence.

And one of Arsenal’s star performers on Tuesday is now attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.

Thomas Partey eyed by Saudi Arabian clubs after Arsenal masterclass vs Chelsea

According to the Evening Standard, Thomas Partey is attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, with the report coming just days after the midfielder’s ‘unbelievable’ display against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite being injured for the majority of the season, Partey showed on Tuesday night that the former Atletico Madrid star could have a massive role to play for Arsenal in the final four games of the Premier League season.

And interest from Saudi Arabia is perhaps no real surprise, with Partey one of a handful of senior players who could reportedly leave Arsenal this summer, alongside the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale and Reiss Nelson.

Indeed, a sizeable bid from Saudi Arabia for Partey would be a tempting prospect for Arsenal, especially if the 30-year-old Ghanaian international can end his time in north London in a high as big as winning the Premier League.

Saudi Arabia could be a lifeline for Arsenal this summer

Saudi Arabia shook the footballing world last year with a number of incredible high-profile moves, with the trend expected to continue into this summer, with Partey already linked with a switch to the Middle East.

And for Arsenal, Saudi Arabia could provide a lifeline for the Gunners in their quest to trim the squad whilst also recouping a decent amount of transfer money, with Partey a player who could go for a fair price if the right club was to come in.

With the midfielder now getting minute for Arsenal, there’s a real chance that Partey can give his value a small boost if he can replicate his performance against Chelsea in the final games of the season, with a sale this summer ideal for all parties.
