Serge Gnabry has had a frustrating season. Injuries have repeatedly set him back and have recently led to discussions about his sporting future in Munich. After returning with strong performances following an injury that lasted more than two months, the German international suffered another injury in the Champions League quarter-final first leg at Arsenal FC. After tearing a muscle fibre in his left rear thigh, the attacking player will be out for up to three more weeks.

Despite only playing 17 competitive matches this season, the 28-year-old does not appear to be keen to leave Bayern. According to Sky, Bayern are willing to consider offers for Gnabry in principle, but without defining a fixed price tag.

Gnabry, who still harbours hopes of playing in the European Championships with the German national team, has clear priorities: Only an offer of equal sporting and financial value could persuade him to move.
