In recent weeks, there’s been much talk about Ronald Araújo’s future. Various reports suggest that FC Barcelona would be willing to entertain offers for the centre-back if it benefits the club. The player also doesn’t seem comfortable within the squad, and the elimination against PSG was the last straw.
In fact, several clubs are interested in him already. Bayern Munich are determined to bid for the defender, and now, according to Sport, Manchester United have joined the race. The ‘Red Devils’ are seeking a top defender in Europe to enhance their defensive line, and Araújo is on the list.
With Varane set to leave the club, several names have been thrown into the mix: Branthwaite, Bremer, and now the Uruguayan.
