Up next for Manchester United is an FA Cup semi-final clash against Coventry City.

Erik ten Hag‘s men have had a season to forget and would look at the FA Cup as a means to salvage it as much as they can and end things on a relatively higher note.

To that end, they have some good news to look forward to as far as their much-maligned injury list is concerned. Manchester Evening News has taken a look at their injured players and tipped four of them to be ready for action on Sunday.

Antony, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, and Jonny Evans should be in the squad to face the Sky Blues at Wembley.

Indeed, Ten Hag will need all the help he can get against a Coventry side looking to mount another Playoff push in the Championship this season, who will certainly not shy away from giving United a tough competition and pounce on their mistakes if they’re not careful.

Before they go out on the Wembley pitch on Sunday, the two sides will already know their prospective final opponents, with Man City and Chelsea set to play out the other semi-final on Saturday.

Coventry game is a must-win for the Red Devils

Simply put, this is not a game Man United can afford to lose.

Upsets are not something Erik ten Hag will be allowed to get away with given the season he has had. Hopes for a Champions League finish are all but extinguished barring a miraculous collapse from all the teams currently above them in the league.

More Manchester United News-

Having made the FA Cup final last year as well, going one step further and winning it this time round will help Ten Hag’s case for being allowed to continue at Old Trafford, but it may not be enough should they finish in the league any lower than sixth.
