The Bafana Bafana international has finally won his first major trophy after FCSB clinched this season's league title.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Siyabonga Ngezana's FCSB have won the Romanian SuperLiga for the first time in nine years after their 2-1 win against FCV Farul Constanta on Saturday night at the National Stadium in Bucharest.
David Miculescu opened the scoring for the Red and Blues after 26 minutes, but Rivaldinho equalised with 10 minutes to go.
However, the determined FCSB managed to get the winning goal five minutes later courtesy of Alexandru Baluta to deliver the elusive 27th league crown.
WHAT FCSB SAID
"Yes! After nine years, we are champions of Romania!"

THE BIGGER PICTURE
By virtue of winning the league, Ngezana is guaranteed a place in the 2024/25 Uefa Champions League race.
It will be interesting to see if the club will keep the South African who has attracted the attention of other teams in Europe.
For Kaizer Chiefs, another promising season has ended without silverware. The last time Amakhosi won a major title was in the 2014/15 campaign when they were crowned the Premier Soccer League champions.
WHAT NEXT?
Ngezana definitely hopes to achieve more success in the forthcoming campaign whether in Romania or not.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos will surely have a place for the 26-year-old in his squad, as the team prepares for a tough 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Nigeria on June 3.
