The latest Man Utd team news and injury latest ahead of the Premier League fixture against Burnley this weekend.

Manchester United are set to be boosted by the return of Mason Mount ahead of their Premier League clash with Burnley this weekend.

The 25-year-old had only just returned from a three-month injury absence before he suffered a setback before United's FA Cup final clash with Coventry City last week, but Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the midfielder is in contention to be involved today.

Mount has only started seven times across all competitions since he joined in a £60 million deal from Chelsea last summer, and is expected to be on the bench when they face Burnley at 3pm on Saturday.

His return is a boost to United at a vital time in the season and there is set to be some further good news with a trio of players expected back in team training next week.

Here is the latest injury news ahead of the Burnley clash...

1 . Mason Mount - 27 April vs Burnley (H) Mount is set to be named on the United bench when they host Burnley in the Premier League today.
2 . Marcus Rashford - 6 May - Crystal Palace (A) There was no update on Marcus Rashford after he missed the midweek win over Sheffield United. He's not expected to be back this weekend.
3 . Willy Kambwala - 6 May - Crystal Palace (A) Kambwala has missed the last two matches and is not expected to be back against Burnley. Louis Jackson will likely be on the bench in his place.
4 . Jonny Evans - 6 May - Crystal Palace (A) We're still awaiting a further update on Evans after he was initially ruled out due to a 'short-term' muscle injury. He has not been involved in a squad since the defeat to Chelsea.
