West Ham United have the perfect Michail Antonio replacement lined up ahead of the summer transfer window it seems.
Michail Antonio has been a fine servant for West Ham over the past nine years, but the 34-year-old will apparently be up for sale this summer.
Hammers David Moyes is so reliant on Antonio. The Jamaica international is absolutely integral to the Scot’s system.
The fact that Moyes still hasn’t found a long-term replacement for the former Nottingham Forest forward is utterly bizarre.
That could all be about to change this summer though, if the 60-year-old is still in charge at the London Stadium of course.
Moyes apparently has his eye on someone who would be the ideal man to lead the line for us…
The Jamaican is clearly on the downward curve of his career.
He has actually been in decent form for us over the past month or so, but his limitations are still clear to see for everyone.
Signing an upgrade on Micky, as good as he has undoubtedly been for us, could very well take us to the next level.
According to a report from German media outlet Bild, West Ham have ‘knocked on the door’ for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy, and the 28-year-old has a £17 million release clause in his current contract.
He’s been on fire so far this season, with an incredible 27 goals in 25 games for Stuttgart to his name (Transfermarkt).
Guirassy is exceptionally strong in the air, possesses really impressive pace and is an elite finisher. He would be incredibly dangerous surrounded by the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta as well, if the Brazilian remains at the club.
The 28-year-old would be the perfect Michail Antonio replacement for West Ham. Let’s hope we manage to get it done.
