Tottenham Hotspur still have a fair bit of work to do in the market as Ange Postecoglou’s rebuilding job continues to take shape.

Although Spurs have markedly improved from last season, there’s still a lot of work to do in wake of some heavy defeats in recent weeks.

At one point, Tottenham could’ve been considered dark horses for the Premier League title. However, they’re now struggling for a top-four place.

Spurs were one of the busiest clubs in the country in both the summer window and the January market.

This is likely to be the case in the upcoming window as Postecoglou looks to improve his team further.

Fabrizio Romano has now dropped an update about what he expects Tottenham to do and which players they could target from June onwards.

What has Fabrizio Romano said about Spurs transfer agenda this summer?

Romano told GiveMeSport: “I think it will be an important summer for Tottenham in terms of midfield.

“And then [there will be] an offensive player, at least one offensive player.

“We will see if it’s going to be more a kind of winger or more a kind of number nine.

“But they are exploring the offensive players market and I think they will do something also in that position.

“So I think it will be a busy summer at Tottenham.”

Who could Tottenham look to sign in the summer transfer window?

Plenty of players have been linked with a move to Spurs over the summer in recent months.

In terms of midfield, we’ve seen links with the likes of Conor Gallagher, Wilfried Ndidi, Morgan Gibbs-White, Albert Gudmundsson and Archie Gray.

Further up, Spurs have been linked with talents such as Santiago Gimenez, Joshua Zirkzee, Nico Williams, Pedro Neto and Eberechi Eze.

We’ve also seen links with defenders, such as Jonathan Tah, Piero Hincapie and Tosin Adarabioyo. The Spurs defence could certainly do with further reinforcements and more quality.
