So it seems as though there’s a genuine chance that Paulo Fonseca could join Liverpool over West Ham United this summer.

That would be a huge shame, but not one single West Ham fan would be surprised if Paulo Fonseca did indeed choose Liverpool over us.

It would just be very painful, considering that the Hammers apparently have already missed out on our number one target Ruben Amorim.

David Moyes will almost certainly be forced to leave the London Stadium this summer, whilst Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is choosing to walk away from Anfield.

In my view, Fonseca would be a great option to replace the Scot. The 51-year-old implements a supremely exciting brand of football to watch.

It has been claimed that the Portuguese coach has actually agreed a deal in principle to take over at the London Stadium this summer.

However, there’s some bad news for the Hammers fans who want the 51-year-old to replace Moyes this summer…
