Juventus ordered to pay Cristiano Ronaldo €10 million in wage dispute

Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded €10 million in a wage dispute with his former club Juventus.

The Portuguese star, who now plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, had taken legal action against Juventus over unpaid wages relating to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

At the time, Ronaldo had agreed to defer some of his earnings, but the payments were never made.

According to Gazzetta, Juventus will now have to pay Ronaldo €9.7 million (plus interest). This is a major blow for the Bianconeri, who are already struggling financially.

Ronaldo left Juventus in 2021 to join Manchester United, before moving to Al-Nassr earlier this year.
