Manchester United transfer meeting ‘in coming days’ – 2 clubs and an agent to negotiate Red Devils exit

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has overlooked Christian Eriksen in recent months.

The Denmark international has been restricted to three appearances in this calendar year, which hasn’t pleased him or those in charge of his national team. Eriksen’s contract lasts until 2025 but he could leave Old Trafford in the summer.

According to Fotomaç, Galatasaray are keen on signing the Manchester United midfielder.

The Istanbul club have Tanguy Ndombele, currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, as one of the midfielders in their squad. They aren’t planning to make the Frenchman’s stay permanent and want to replace him with Eriksen.

It’s claimed Galatasaray will sit down with both Manchester United and the 32-year-old’s agent in the ‘coming days’ to discuss a possible deal in the next window.

This isn’t the first time the player has ended up on the Turkish club’s radar. Fotomaç state Galatasaray have contacted Manchester United for Eriksen before and received positive signals.

Last week, Denmark’s Tipsbladet reported Eriksen could leave the Red Devils, but had categorically ruled out a move to Galatasaray.

Therefore, the club may have a tough task in convincing the Dane.
