As Tottenham gear up for the North London Derby with Arsenal on Sunday, all eyes are on forward Richarlison as he marks his return from an injury setback.

Having not started since February 17 due to a knee injury, the break following their 4-0 defeat at Newcastle has given Richarlison the much-needed time to recover. His return is quite timely considering Spurs' streak of inconsistency, and with his impressive nine goals in 10 matches prior to his injury, Richarlison might just be the game-changer against Arsenal's strong defence line this Sunday.

"When he's been in, he's been really good for us but then had two injuries and started the season with an injury," said Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou.

"Great to have him back and it does give us other options in that front third. We're kind of really fortunate that he was at his best when Sonny (Son Heung-min) was away and he filled that breach.

"Talking about how we're going to cover the goals with the loss of Harry (Kane) and at different times they both have stood up, but we've rarely had them together in great physical shape.

"Richy's looked good in training this week, which is good and he's obviously ready to go. We're going to need him over the last six games and it does give us another good option in that front third."

While Postecoglou stopped short of confirming Richarlison's starting role, he did announce that Ben Davies is set to fill in the XI, stepping in for Destiny Udogie who's out for the season following thigh surgery.

Davies is poised to face off against Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, boasting a stellar track record with four wins from four starts in home North London Derbies. With Arsenal eyeing a move closer to their first league title in two decades, the stakes are high.
