West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan is quite clearly actively looking to replace David Moyes this summer.

David Moyes seems to be coming to the end of his tenure as West Ham boss, after a dismal run of form and results in 2024.

The Scot told reporters yesterday that we’re in an ‘incredible position’ in the league right now, and that in itself highlights why he needs to be moved on.

The Hammers have won just four games in all competitions since our 2-0 victory away at Arsenal on December 28th.

It’s so frustrating that our season is petering out like it is, considering the position we were in only four months ago.

Now Moyes will pay the price for his side’s poor run of form since the new year. But which man will come into the London Stadium to replace him?

Sullivan’s final shortlist to replace West Ham boss David Moyes

Big change lies ahead at West Ham this summer, with numerous new signings needed, as well as a different man at the helm to usher us on into a new era of success.

With so many different managers being linked with the Hammers hot-seat though, quite who will replace Moyes is still very much up in the air.

According to Thomas, the Hammers owners have whittled down the shortlist of managers who might replace Moyes to four men.

Julen Lopetegui, Graham Potter, Paulo Fonseca and Sebastian Hoeness are all in the running to take the Scot’s job.

I would definitely take the latter three names on that list, albeit more so Fonseca and Hoeness than Potter.

However, Sullivan appointing Lopetegui would be a real backwards step as far as I’m concerned.

David Moyes should not be the West Ham boss beyond the end of the season, that much is certain. However, getting the correct man in through the door to replace him will be the most important thing for Sullivan this summer.
