Manchester United have been urged to launch an audacious double swoop for Crystal Palace forwards Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze this summer. The Red Devils are reportedly among the frontrunners for Olise's signature at the end of the season, but Dwight Yorke wants to see Eze land at Old Trafford too.

Only six teams have scored fewer goals than United's 47 in 32 Premier League games this season, sparking speculation of attacking signings at the start of the Sir Jim Ratcliffe era.

Reports claim INEOS are keen to make Olise one of the first recruits of the new regime this summer, and the 22-year-old right-winger's interest is said to be mutual.

Olise has managed just 14 appearances throughout an injury-stricken campaign, starting in 10 of them, but has registered seven goals and four assists for Palace.

Eze is another of the Eagles' headline players, though, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 27 games this term. He has been touted as a target for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

However, United legend Yorke wants the club to rival their bitter rivals for Eze's signature and complete a double deal for two Premier League-proven talents.

"Man United should go buy two Crystal Palace players right now, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, without a doubt," Yorke told TVSportGuide.

"Those two young boys are the players Man United need at the club right now. They're young, great talents and would improve the club.

"In two or three years time, they would be coming into the best part of their careers, and they'd be integrated into the Man United side by then.

"Olise and Eze are proper players. They have some of the best potential I've ever seen. These two kids improve Man United's attack, without a shadow of a doubt.

"The deals should be done already. Try chucking £80million or something like that for both of them."

Olise's arrival would spell trouble for Antony, who cost United £86m in 2022 but has already lost his starting status to Alejandro Garnacho and would slip to third in the pecking order.

Eze is predominantly an attacking midfielder, which is a position captain Bruno Fernandes has had on lock for years and likely will do again next season.

But the 25-year-old can also operate on either flank, and he represents an attractive option to replace Marcus Rashford amid the United No. 11's uncertain future.
