Jamie O’Hara has shared his prediction for today’s clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Spurs will be aiming to take some inspiration from Everton in today’s North London Derby

The Toffees secured a 2-0 win over Liverpool during the week and landed a huge dent in their rivals’ Premier League title hopes.

Tottenham head into the derby off the back of a two-week break following a disappointing afternoon at St James’ Park 15 days ago.

Ange Postecoglou’s side will be hoping to capitalise on Aston Villa dropping points at home to Chelsea yesterday. The Lilywhite are seven points behind the Villains, albeit with three games in hand over their top-four rivals.

Spurs have it tough over the next seven days though, with away games against Chelsea and Liverpool to follow today’s derby.

But Jamie O’Hara believes Tottenham will kick off a difficult run of fixtures with a huge win over Arsenal today.

O’Hara backs Tottenham to ‘do a job’ on Arsenal

Speaking on talkSPORT [27/04 7:20 pm], O’Hara explained why he’s backing Spurs to ‘derail’ Arsenal’s title hopes on Sunday afternoon.

“Spurs can derail Arsenal’s season,” the former Tottenham man said. “They have been unbelievable this season, to be fair to Arsenal, they have had a great run, but it ends now. It’s all for them.

“Ange is going to do a job on them. I am going to be rocking in here on Monday loving life. It’s going to be the big one.

“We have got to get it done, we can’t let them win the league. Udogie being injured is a bit of a killer, I am not going to lie, but I have got to say, I don’t know why, but I fancy us.

“We are at home, Arsenal are going to be feeling the pressure, they know this is a big game.”

Destiny Udogie absence could be huge blow for Tottenham

Postecoglou will head into today’s derby with a near full-strength squad to pick from.

The Aussie boss confirmed this week that both Richarlison and Pedro Porro have trained and are available for selection. But with Destiny Udogie set to miss out, Postecoglou faces a key decision at left-back.

Ben Davies looks likely to step up in the Italian’s absence and his battle with Bukayo Saka could be key today.

Arsenal are particularly strong down the right-hand side and Udogie dealt with the threat of Saka in the reverse fixture at the Emirates earlier this season.

The Gunners also head into the game with real momentum after consecutive wins over Chelsea and Wolves.

With that being said, we’ve already seen Spurs surprise a few with their display at Arsenal this season and Postecoglou’s side are capable of beating anyone on their day.

The added incentive of damaging Arsenal’s title hopes could also be a key factor for Tottenham.
