Frustrated Man Utd fans are all saying the same thing about Marcus Rashford – it’s far too frequent
Manchester United fans are all saying the same thing about Marcus Rashford after the 3-1 loss to Brighton.
A day to forget for the Red Devils. Former United man Danny Welbeck opened the scoring, before goals from Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro put the Seagull’s three goals to the good.
A small saving grace was a fantastic Hannibal Mejbri strike – but this wasn’t enough to put a smile on Manchester United fans’ faces on what was a tough day as a red.
Fans were obviously left frustrated. However, Marcus Rashford specifically came under fire on social media afterwards – with fans all saying the same thing about the England international.
Fans are all saying the same thing about the 26-year-old – his decision-making as of late, particularly against Brighton, has simply not been good enough.
There was a particular moment at 1-0 that could have drastically changed the trajectory of the fixture. Had Rashford squared it to Rasmus Hojlund – the result could have been a lot different.
If this is Kevin de Bruyne or Phil Foden, he'll definitely pass Erling Haaland. Marcus Rashford has to learn. pic.twitter.com/CjwokIqZAr

Football's all about those fine margins! The top players consistently choose what's best for the team. Rashford's explosive, but he doesn't always make the right call. De Bruyne, Foden, and Salah would pass to Hojlund for an easy tap-in. That's game-changing. Some United players… pic.twitter.com/G9oIXDIBXz

This wasn’t the only moment either where the England international decision-making was questioned.
There was also an opportunity at 0-0 where Sergio Reguilon could have easily been slipped in, but instead, Rashford sloppily lost possession with what was an unnecessary skill.
Rashford lacks footballing IQ to be honest bro just hit reguilon on the overlap with a through pass that's a chance created. pic.twitter.com/uojo5wNROY

It has been a bit of a recurring issue. Rashford is of an age now where he really should be one of the most competent players when it comes to doing the right thing on the pitch.
He is undeniably an integral player for United. However – no player is safe from scrutiny. Rashford is not guaranteed a starting spot despite his credibility at Old Trafford. He needs to step up and be the player we all know is there.
