Man Utd fans' concerns for Marcus Rashford grow after post-match footage from inside Old Trafford goes viral

Manchester United fans have expressed concern for Marcus Rashford after seeing a post-match video which went viral online.

Rashford came off the bench in United's 2-0 Europa League win over PAOK on Thursday night, replacing Alejandro Garnacho in the 65th minute.

Amad Diallo bagged a second half brace to give United a first victory in Europe this season after three consecutive draws. The triumph ensures Ruud van Nistelrooy maintains an unbeaten run going into his final game in charge as interim boss against Leicester City on Sunday.

But concerns were raised about Rashford following a video of the players walking past the mixed zone. A reporter from fan channel Forever United was present and had brief interactions with a number of players who walked past.

Rashford blanked the fan, who then spoke to the camera and said, "The Manchester lad is the only one who didn't let on. Head down. All of the others let on, fist pump or high five."

Some fans worried about the England international, with one saying: "Just look at Rashford compared to the others man."

But it was mentioned by many supporters that the reporter in question had been a vocal critic of Rashford's for quite some time and so plenty felt he had no right to acknowledge him.

A user commented: "The agenda is real. No wonder why Rashford didn’t wanna know."

Another added: "Good, he should give no time to these parasite channels."

A third wrote: "Looks like he knows what the people unnecessarily hating him look like and knows to steer away."

Prior to the game, Rashford's teammate Garnacho was involved in an exchange with a fan, who heckled and patronised him while he signed autographs.

After he told the Argentina international to "pass better, score a goal and work on your first touch", Garnacho said, "Why are you not playing?"

Rashford has four goals in 17 appearances so far this season and will be hoping his form improves under new boss Ruben Amorim, who takes the reins on November 11.
