Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou is ready to listen to offers for one of his key players.

The Australian has had a decent debut season in the Premier League after joining Spurs from Celtic before the start of this campaign.

His side got off to a great start, but just two wins in the last seven, including three defeats on the bounce, have heavily dented Tottenham’s Champions League hopes.

Postecoglou and co need reinforcements in multiple areas of the pitch, and plans for the upcoming summer transfer window are already underway.

There will surely be incomings this summer, but Tottenham are looking to cash in on a few of their current players as well.

Here’s the latest on one of them.

Tottenham are ready to sell Richarlison for one reason this summer

Tottenham signed Richarlison from Everton in the summer of 2022 for £60 million (Sky Sports).

The Brazil international, branded as a ‘world-class‘ forward, had a disastrous debut season at Spurs. He scored just one goal in the Premier League all campaign, which was a shocking return.

Richarlison has been much better this season. He has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 30 appearances, which is not bad at all when compared to last term.

Ange Postecoglou deserves credit for helping Richarlison improve this season, but the Australian seems to have different plans going forward.

The Telegraph have revealed that the Tottenham boss wants to sign an out-and-out striker in the upcoming summer transfer window.

To facilitate that move, Spurs are said to be willing to listen to offers for a few of their players, including their current number nine Richarlison.

The former Everton man has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia, and any offer from them this summer will be seriously considered by Daniel Levy.

The four games Richarlison has to save his Tottenham career

Tottenham are right to be willing to listen to offers for Richarlison.

Daniel Levy made a significant investment on the Brazil international nearly two years ago, and it has to be said that his performances have not justified the money he cost.

Yes, Richarlison has looked much better this season, but has he done enough to reject a big offer for him should it arrive this summer? We don’t think so!

However, things change very quickly in football, and if Richarlison can go on a crazy goalscoring run in the final four games of the season, he could well convince Postecoglou to keep hold of him.

Tottenham take on Liverpool tomorrow before hosting Burnley. Then, they welcome Manchester City in a game that could decide who wins the Premier League title.

Spurs finish their season at Sheffield United at home.
