Barcelona coach Hansi Flick described his side's first-half display at Signal Iduna Park as "impressive" as they ended Borussia Dortmund's run of 13 straight home Champions League games unbeaten.
"The most positive thing is the possession we had in the first half, when we played calmly, the way we wanted to play. And when Dortmund scored against us in the second half, we were stable," he told Movistar.
Flick also explained that the German side has "fantastic players who are very difficult to defend" and that the two home goals came "because of mistakes" by his team.
"But we can be proud of what we did because this team showed that they believe in themselves," claimed the Barcelona coach, who said that the substitution of Raphinha for Frenkie de Jong was not due to any injury to the Brazilian: "He was just tired," he concluded.
