Roy Keane is set to be at Anfield for the upcoming Super Sunday after Sky Sports looked into his heated exchange with Ipswich Town fans. The 53 year old, who managed Ipswich from 2009 to 2011, was seen on camera during a break in Sky's broadcast of their match against Manchester United, telling a fan: "I'll wait for you in the car park... Meet me in the car park."

The Daily Mail. says that after speaking with Keane and witnesses including presenter Kelly Cates and pundits Jamie Redknapp and Izzy Christiansen, Sky has decided to keep him on board for Sunday's clash as Liverpool take on Manchester City.

With City trailing by eight points and without a win in six games, their title defence looks shaky. Keane will join Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Daniel Sturridge, and Micah Richards in the studio.

In an exclusive chat with Mirror Football, 55 year old Ipswich fan and season ticket holder Neil Finbow reflected on last Sunday's heated exchange: "It was the guy in the middle's comments that got him, I think. He was going on about his time when he was manager," reports the Mirror.

"I will sort of defend Roy Keane here as well, because it may be that the comment, 'I'll see you in the car park' is to talk to the guy, so it can be misconstrued."

As well as having a stellar playing career Keane has also had time in management, not only with Ipswich Town but also with Sunderland. He was also assistant manager at Aston Villa in 2014, when Paul Lambert was at the club. He has also coached with Nottingham Forest and the Republic of Ireland.
