Declan Rice has a strange relationship with Chelsea Football Club.

Rice has been very open about the fact he supported Chelsea as a youngster, and he even spent time in their academy.

He was very close with a number of Chelsea’s players during his time at West Ham, including Mason Mount, but now, he’s playing for one of the Blues’ biggest rivals, Arsenal.

As an Arsenal player, Rice ought to be discouraged from speaking highly of Chelsea, but speaking to Amazon on TikTok, Rice has now named a Chelsea legend as his favourite player of all-time.

Indeed, Rice says that his favourite player ever is John Terry, the legendary Chelsea captain who won it all with the Blues.

Rice spoke highly of Terry, claiming that he’s his favourite footballer of all-time.

“Who is your favourite footballer of all-time?” Rice was asked.

“John Terry,” Rice said.

Indeed, Terry has always been a serious champion of the England international.

A few years ago, Terry claimed that Rice was the best player in the world in his position, while he’s also sent supportive messages to Rice in the past on Instagram.

Terry and Rice briefly crossed paths at Chelsea when Rice was a very young player, but it would appear that these two have a serious amount of respect and admiration for one another.

Terry isn’t the biggest Arsenal fan in the world, but he clearly does have a soft spot for Rice as a player.
