Mohamed Salah has already been sent a 'warning' from two former Liverpool stars after leaving Anfield to move to the Saudi Pro League.

Odds on Salah leaving Liverpool have tumbled since his touchline row with manager Jurgen Klopp during the 2-2 draw at West Ham on Saturday.

The Egyptian's refusal to speak to the press was also notable - not for his lack of comment, as Salah rarely does post-match interviews, but the nature of his short response.

When asked about the incident with Klopp, Salah told the mixed zone: "If I speak, there will be fire."

The 31-year-old enters the final 12 months of his Liverpool contract this summer, and he has persistently been linked with a transfer to the Saudi Pro League.

Al Ittihad tried to sign Salah last summer, but had a verbal bid of around £150 million turned down by Liverpool on deadline day.

It is unclear whether Liverpool would be able to command such a fee for the forward this time around - but Salah has already been sent a warning about the prospect of moving to Saudi Arabia.

The Daily Mail reported in January that, just six months after leaving Liverpool to join Al Ettifaq, Henderson was keen to leave the club and make a return to Europe.

It was claimed that he and his family had failed to settle in the area, and he moved to Ajax later that month.

Henderson, who played under Reds legend Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq, made just 19 competitive appearances for the Saudi Pro League club.

Another former Liverpool star that moved to Saudi Arabia was Roberto Firmino, who joined Al Ahli after his Anfield contract expired last summer.

The Brazil international started life at his new club with a hat-trick on his debut, but has scored just three league goals since then in 25 appearances.

It was claimed that he was considering quitting the league in January and returning to Europe.

Despite links with Sheffield United, he eventually stayed put and is now an ever-present in the Al Ahli starting XI again - but it hasn't been an ideal season for Firmino.
