David Moyes has swiftly secured a new role following his departure from West Ham, although it's not in management.

Earlier this week, it was divulged that the Hammers boss would leave London Stadium 'through mutual agreement' at the end of the 2023/24 season after over four years at the helm. The former Everton gaffer has wasted no time arranging another gig, denying himself much of a breather.

Moyes is set to join talkSPORT as a pundit for their EURO 2024 coverage. TalkSPORT tweeted about their new acquisition saying: "Give it Moysey for the Euros," they noted.

"David Moyes joins the talkSPORT team to provide his expert insight and analysis throughout the tournament." Premier League stalwart Moyes will be amongst company with notable figures like Emmanuel Petit and Ashley Young, who will also be delivering commentary. Past adversaries of Moyes', such as Alan Pardew and Graeme Souness will also be offering their expertise on the ground in Germany.

As the curtains fall on Moyes' stint at West Ham when his contract expires at the end of the season, he can look back positively on a tenure that enabled him to deliver the club's first European trophy in nearly 50 years.

"I have enjoyed four and a half brilliant years at West Ham, and the Club is in a stronger position than when I returned back in 2019," said Moyes. "When I joined West Ham for a second time, the Club was one place above the relegation zone, and it has been a terrific journey to have achieved three consecutive seasons in Europe.

"After leading the Club to safety, we guided the team to finishes of 6th and 7th in the Premier League, and I was delighted when we won the Europa Conference League title last June the Club's first major trophy in 43 years."

"I would like to thank all the players for their support, and all the success they have achieved, over the last four and a half years. I have really enjoyed working with everyone at West Ham, and I would like to thank the Board for giving me the opportunity to manage this great club.

"I wish my eventual successor, the Directors, the players, the staff, the fans, and everybody at West Ham, all the very best for the future."
