Paris saint-Germain keen to sign Alexander Isak this summer

A Swedish goal-scoring sensation is topping PSG’s wishlist for the upcoming summer transfer window. But Arsenal is also keen on the player, setting the stage for a potential showdown.

With Kylian Mbappé set to leave this summer, PSG is on the lookout for fresh talent to bolster their attacking lineup. Mbappé, whose contract with PSG expires in June, is eyeing a move to Real Madrid, although nothing is final yet.

Negotiations are ongoing, with a potential agreement expected during the summer transfer window.

In the meantime, PSG’s management, led by Sporting Director Luis Campos, is actively scouting talents to ensure the team remains competitive next season.

The list of potential replacements for Mbappé at PSG continues to grow, with various names being circulated for weeks.

While stars like Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Victor Osimhen (Naples), Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan), and Rafael Leao (AC Milan) have been mentioned, PSG is yet to secure a deal with any of them.

Alexander Isak on PSG’s Radar

Among the contenders is Swedish striker Alexander Isak, currently playing for Newcastle. With an impressive record of 22 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions this season, Isak has caught the attention of PSG’s decision-makers. His market value is estimated at €100 million.

PSG are gearing up for a battle with Arsenal to secure the Swedish international’s signature. According to reports from The Independent, Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has instructed the club to initiate negotiations with Isak, aiming to secure him for the upcoming season.
