The prospect of a celebration that would double up as a farewell to Klopp was said to have been discussed after the Carabao Cup final. However, those plans have been scrapped and Liverpool are no longer expected to stage an end-of-season parade, according to This Is Anfield. 

It is said that Liverpool had contingency plans in place for several dates, which were dependent on their success both domestically and in Europe. Although the plans have since been shelved, there is still a chance Liverpool could stage a parade if they win the Premier League title.

Klopp was asked about the prospect of a parade also serving as a farewell earlier this season but was adamant that he did not want to be the main focus of such an event. He said: "That’s the one part that is not so cool, that it could be seen as [a farewell]. I don’t think that makes sense."

Liverpool had high hopes of completing an unprecedented quadruple this season, which were fuelled by winning the Carabao Cup earlier this year. However, their campaign has since faltered due to premature exits from the FA Cup and Europa League.

The Reds can still achieve Premier League glory but will need Arsenal and Manchester City to slip up over the final three games. Liverpool currently sit third with a five-point gap to leaders Arsenal, while second-placed City are four points ahead with a game in hand.
