Jude Bellingham’s brother Jobe, 19, just one step away from joining him in England team after latest call-up

It probably won't take long until the Bellingham brothers join forces at England's senior team

JOBE BELLINGHAM is climbing the England ranks - and still has “huge potential” to discover.

Sunderland’s 19-year-old, the younger brother of Three Lions and Real Madrid star Jude, has already been capped at every level from Under-16 to Under-20.

Now his fine form for the Championship leaders has been rewarded with a first Under-21 call-up for the upcoming matches with Spain and the Netherlands.

Black Cats boss Regis Le Bris says: “He deserved to have this because he has played very well so far and it should be a good experience for him.

“He’s very young but has shown consistency and we’ve tried to find a stable position for him.

“He has improved many things in his game. He can do many things, he’s the complete player with a huge potential to discover.

“He wants to improve every day and his standards are very high.”

Jobe's big brother Jude, 21, has been struggling to replicate last season's stunning performances this term.

The versatile midfielder registered a staggering total of 23 goals and 13 assists in 42 appearances during the 2023-24 campaign.

However, the England superstar has yet to score a goal so far this season after 12 matches.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund star has only managed three assists across all competitions so far.

Fatigue over the summer with the Three Lions spilled into injury at the start of this season, with Jude missing four games.
