Real Madrid have welcomed several players back from long-term injury in recent weeks, and all three are set to start against Cadiz on Saturday.
Los Blancos were dealt blows when Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao ruptured their anterior cruciate ligaments at the start of the season, and the pair have been absent for a long time.
Militao has made a gradual return to action, but Courtois has not been seen at all, yet he could now make his comeback on the day that the La Liga title can be clinched.
Real were also dealt a blow when summer signing Arda Guler picked up a long-term injury before his debut, but he has now continued his recovery with a start and a goal against Real Sociedad, and he will now keep his place in the side.
Carlo Ancelotti has now confirmed that the trio of Courtois, Militao and Guler will all play against Cadiz to help them build up further match fitness.
“Yes, it’s okay. Tomorrow he’ll play after a long time. It’s good news to come back, just like Militao. He can contribute, okay, he’s very excited. We’re so glad he’s coming back,” Ancelotti stated in his press conference of Courtois and Militao.
“It’s gonna be a headline,” he stated of Guler.
The clash with Cadiz could see Real Madrid win the title if Barcelona then drop points against Girona, and La Liga is all-but confirmed for Los Blancos anyway.
The main focus this week, is resting from the Champions League semi-final first leg draw with Bayern Munich, and looking ahead to the second leg.
Real will want full match fitness heading into the clash at the Santiago Bernabeu, and welcoming injured players back now is excellent timing ahead of the run-in.
