Saka was filmed from the home end as he went to take a corner during the first half on Sunday.

In the video, chants of "you let your country down" can be heard in reference to his penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final shootout.

However, the taunts backfired immediately as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg headed Saka's cross into his own net.

The clip shows the crowd fall silent as Saka replies by turning and cupping his hand to his ear in the direction of the Spurs fans.

Meanwhile, Arsenal supporters were left in hysterics after the video was shared to social media.

One fan wrote: "This is hilarious."

Another added: "The way they stop chanting."

A third supporter also commented: "The best way to answer."

Meanwhile, one more simply said: "That’s karma."

Saka went on to double the Gunners' lead in the 27th minute, again celebrating by holding his hands to his ears.

Eight times Arsenal and Tottenham's North London rivalry got petty

Kai Havertz also taunted the home fans after making it 3-0 before half-time.

The German held his finger to his lips as he celebrated heading in a third goal.

Despite a late Tottenham fight back, Arsenal held on to win 3-2 at the home of their bitter local rivals.

The result leaves Mikel Arteta's side a point clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.

However, City still have a game in hand following their win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

As for Saka, he has now scored 15 league goals this season alongside nine assists.

His tally this term is his best in the top flight, with Saka's latest strike taking him past last season's total with three matches remaining.
