South Africa return to the tournament they last participated at in 2017 and they now have an opportunity to go to the World Cup.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Amajita reached the final of the Cosafa Under-20 Championships after edging Angola 1-0 in a semi-final match at Camp da ABB Stadium in Matola, Mozambique on Thursday.
Cape Town City forward Jody Lee Ah-Shene grabbed South Africa's all-important goal in the first half.
Crucially, Thursday's result saw Amajita book a place at the 2025 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations finals as they also remain on course to qualify for the 2025 Fifa Under-20 World Cup.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
In the four games they have played, South Africa have scored 14 goals without conceding and that makes them one of the standout performers.
It also makes it easy for some to tip Raymond Mdaka's boys as Cosafa tournament favourites.
However, some might argue that this competition is getting tougher for Amajita who started with a 5-0 win over Malawi before beating Lesotho 6-0.
A 2-0 win over Comoros was then followed by Thursday's result which earned them an Afron berth.
WHAT NEXT FOR AMAJITA?
Mdaka's side now wait to learn their opponents in the Cosafa final and they face Zimbabwe or Zambia who were clashing in the other semi-final tie.
The final is on Saturday and they go into that match with one eye already on Afcon.
