Appearing in a recent video shared on the TNT Sports X account, Gareth Bale was asked which clubs he thinks will win certain competitions this season and which players will win certain individual awards.
When asked to name who he thinks will win the Premier League Golden Boot at the end of the current campaign, Bale picked Haaland.

With two full Premier League campaigns under his belt, the Norwegian has won two Golden Boots as he helped City win their third and fourth consecutive top-flight trophies.
Erling Haaland – Premier League | Appearances | Goals |
2022/23 | 35 | 36 |
2023/24 | 31 | 27 |
2024/25 | 12* | 12 |
If Haaland were to secure a third-consecutive Golden Boot this season, he would join a select group of just two other players who have done the same thing previously.
Specifically, Haaland would be alongside Alan Shearer – who won three consecutive Golden Boots between the 1994/95 and the 1996/97 seasons – and Thierry Henry, who won his top scorer awards between the 2003/04 and 2005/06 campaigns.
Interestingly, Darren Bent backed Haaland to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal record.
Moving forward, if the 24-year-old were to secure a third consecutive Golden Boot, this would undoubtedly confirm his status as one of the best strikers the Premier League has ever seen.
