Jurgen Klopp is being lined up for a job at Borussia Dortmund

Jurgen Klopp has just three games left in Liverpool's dugout before he leaves for a 'long break' from football.

Klopp has been in charge of the Reds for nearly nine years, winning the Premier League, Champions League, the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. But he will call time on his reign on Merseyside at the end of the season.

While he is expected to ake a lengthy break from the sport once he leaves Anfield, rival clubs are already lining up approaches. The uncertainty around Klopp's future comes as Ryan Gravenberch admitted his disappointment over Liverpool's collapse in form in recent weeks.

And fresh details have emerged on Klopp's spat with Mohamed Salah during the Reds' defeat to West Ham. Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest Liverpool news.

Klopp lined up for return

Borussia Dortmund are lining up an approach for Jurgen Klopp after he leaves Liverpool. Klopp previously spent seven years in charge of Dortmund, winning two Bundesliga titles, though they have struggled since his exit.

Given those struggles, the German side are now looking to tap into Klopp's expertise to restore their place in the Bundesliga. Dortmund are hoping to bring him in as their head of football from 2025.

There is increasingly talk at Signal Iduna Park about pursuing such a move. However, it has been noted that the German side have brought back a number of key figures from the first Klopp era which has done little to reverse their fortunes.

Ryan Gravenberch has been left disappointed with Liverpool's collapse in form

Liverpool star Ryan Gravenberch has admitted his disappointment over his side's dreadful form. The Reds have won just one of their last five games to all but end their hopes of finishing top of the Premier League.

“Everybody is disappointed, but we have to go forward now,” he said. “ Tottenham is this week and we have to prepare for that, and we will do. We have to prepare well for them. We have to believe and we have to win that game.”

“It was a really hard wee. Of course, as a player, you want to win prizes and now it will be really difficult. You have to keep dreaming and keep believing always, but it will be really hard for us. Everyone is disappointed because we wanted to win at West Ham."

Fresh Salah spat details emerge

The spat between Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp was sparked by the attacker snubbing a traditional touchline handshake. That is according to West Ham star Michail Antonio who has now opened up on their clash.

"As the [Liverpool] players come on, Klopp always gives them a big hug and says 'good luck', but when Mo came on he walked in a different direction and was doing his shinpads and stuff like that," Antonio said in the Footballers’ Football Podcast.

“Klopp has put his hand out to him and his hand was there for a bit and as Mo stopped doing what he was doing, he just slapped his [Klopp's] hand as a high five. Obviously Klopp didn’t like that and he was like, ‘do you want to sit back down?’, basically saying, 'do you want to go on?'. And nobody has told me what Mo said back."
