Arsenal ace Leandro Trossard has left Hollywood superstar Anne Hathaway 'shaking' with a personal video message. Fresh off her side's triumphant North London Derby victory over Tottenham, Hathaway appeared on NBC's Today show on Monday alongside fellow Arsenal fan Nicholas Galitzine.

It appears Trossard's message was tied to the previous week's 5-0 triumph over Chelsea, where he netted the opener. "Hey Anne, I really loved your celebration the other day for my goal," Trossard said. "Keep supporting us and hopefully see you soon at the Emirates."

Hathaway responded with disbelief, uttering, 'Are you kidding me?' before confessing, 'I'm shaking'. Co-star Galitzine chimed in as well, expressing his admiration for prominent sports figures and feeling 'star-struck' by the brief clip.

Following the victory, footage surfaced online of Hathaway and Galitzine enthusiastically watching the match while doing media rounds for their upcoming film, The Idea of You. Following Trossard's goal, Hathaway burst out of her seat, celebrating and exclaimed: "Oh, I love you," while energetically fist-pumping.

She explained her reaction to her interviewer, stating: "Sorry, we are both fans of the same team and there is a match going on right now. It's English Premier League soccer...yes...we don't want to take up too much of your time."

The Belgian forward has been instrumental in Arsenal's Premier League title challenge this season, netting 15 times across all competitions. He also found the back of the net in victories over Wolves and his former club Brighton, as well as scoring a late equaliser in the Champions League first-leg draw with Bayern Munich.

The 29-year-old's impressive form was recognised on Sunday when he was named in the starting line-up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Arsenal kept their title aspirations alive after an own goal from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and strikes from Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz put them 3-0 up before half-time.

However, the hosts fought back with goals from Cristian Romero and Son Heung-Min, setting up a nail-biting finale. By that stage, Trossard had been substituted just after the hour mark by Gabriel Martinelli, and he watched from the dugout as his side clung to the three points.
