Sevilla chief Del Nido: We know how to beat Man Utd
Sevilla vice-president José María del Nido Carrasco says they welcome their Europa League quarterfinal against Manchester United.
Del Nido insists they're capable of beating the English giants.
He said, "Nobody wanted to face United, we have had one of the best in the world . But we have a lot of ambition and illusion and all the confidence in the team.
“After United, you also expect a tough opponent but in the semifinals, but when only the best remain, everyone is complicated. We didn't want Manchester but to win a competition you have to beat everyone. We are not favourites, United triples our budget. We have a love relationship with the Europa League that nobody else has and we are going to fight it like a cat belly up.
“if we leave the tie open (after the first-leg), with the warmth of the fans we can get through. We have eliminated United twice, once in the Champions League and once in UEFA.
"In the League we are not doing well, but in the last 31 ties in this competition we have passed in 29. Only Real Madrid and we are in the quarterfinals. They are not mere statistics, like that we have won every time we go to the quarterfinals, we trust our team and we will face the tie with guarantees."
