‘I can’t get enough of this’ – Ally McCoist left speechless by Scotland star’s moment of magic
RANGERS legend Ally McCoist declared his latest assignment the "best cup tie I've seen for a long time" - World Cup aside.
And the popular pundit was left particularly impressed by a moment of magic from Scotland star Oli McBurnie.
The striker hasn't been included in Steve Clarke's latest squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Cyprus and Spain, but he'll have certainly made sure his national boss will have taken notice.
Trailing Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers 2-1, a moment of brilliance from McBurnie kick-started a memorable cup fightback for Sheffield United.
Rangers-daft striker McBurnie, 26, took his tally to 13 for the season with a brilliantly executed equaliser.
With nine minutes left and the Blades staring a heartbreaking quarter-final exit in the fact, the centre-forward received the ball with his back to goal inside the penalty area.
Undeterred by three defenders surrounding him, he showed brilliant feet, to quickly twist past all of the Rovers stars in close proximity.
Getting a half-yard of space, McBurnie followed-up his brilliant skill by firing the ball across the goalkeeper and into the net.
McCoist, who's always been a fan of McBurnie, was thrilled by what he saw.
On commentary, the jubilant ex-Scotland striker exclaimed to commentary partner Clive Tyldesley: "I can't get enough of this, I'll tell you right now Clive, I cannot get enough of this.
"What a goal it is! Excellent goal.

"You think he's going to hit it initially, back on to his left, oh, it's a tremendous finish across the goal!
"A brilliant finish at the back post, what a game we've got here. McBurnie scratched to get his half-yard, hits it low and hard across the goalkeeper. In at the far post."
Sheffield United weren't finished there, and struck again in added time.
On-loan Manchester City starlet Tommy Doyle struck a 91st minute winner - an absolutely sensational strike at that - to settle a memorable cup tie 3-2 in favour of the Blades.
They'll now head to Wembley in the last four.
After the game, McCoist took to Instagram to share how much he enjoyed the game.
He said: "Best cup tie I've seen for a long time (World Cup final aside).
"Congratulations to both teams and both sets of supporters. That guys, was tremendous."
