Alfredo Morelos spotted at Glasgow restaurant with Rangers team-mate
ALFREDO MORELOS was spotted at a Glasgow restaurant yesterday as he joined his Rangers pal for a meal.
The Colombian striker, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox, decided to take a break from football as he visited West End's Italian eatery Le Lanterna.
And he was joined by fellow countryman, Juan Alegria, who recently returned to Ibrox from his loan spell at Scottish League One side Falkirk in January.
Alegria was signed by the Light Blues in 2021 following an impressive stint with Finnish outfit FC Honka.
Playing for Colombian side Deportes Tolima previously, he made his switch to Europe before earning his big move to Glasgow.
He spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Partick Thistle before returning to the lower leagues with the Bairns for the first half of this campaign.
The 20-year-old has yet to make a first team competitive appearance for the Gers since moving to Scotland but he has still formed a close bond with fellow Colombian striker Morelos.
And they enjoyed a nice meal together at the Glasgow hot-spot last night.
The restaurant posted a snap of the two on Facebook, where they can be seen posing with head chef, Luca Conreno.
The Great Western Road Italian restaurant wrote: "We might need to start a wall of fame!
"Rangers very own Alfredo Morelos and Juan Alegría popped into the West End for their dinner last night."
Morelos and Alegria aren't the first Rangers stars to visit the restaurant as Ianis Hagi and his dad, Gheorghe, had a meal there in December.
Former Celtic striker Giorgos Giakouamakis also made an appearance at the fancy eatery in February last year before leaving Scotland a couple of months ago.
The Greek forward won't be back anytime soon though after leaving Parkhead for Atlanta United in January.
