Carlo Ancelotti and Vinicius Junior got into it during Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Las Palmas - and their altercation led to a tense moment at full-time.

Real have started the La Liga season well with six wins out of seven but perfectionist Ancelotti has made no secret about demanding more from his troops. Goals from Brahim Diaz and Joselu either side of the half-time break had them in control at the Bernabeu but Ancelotti was a frustrated figure, something Vinicius felt the brunt of before giving a little back.

According to Defensa Central, TV cameras in Spain caught the audio from a spiky exchange between the two as the suave Italian shouted instructions from the touchline. He told Brazil star Vinicius "we have to play more open," to which he responded: "What do you want me to do? You can play like that."

Ancelotti looked exasperated after the interaction and Vinicius probably knew what he was in for when he approached the boss to shake his hand after the full-time whistle - only to be ignored completely. That tense moment at full-time though was missed by TV cameras and has only since been revealed by fan footage on social media.

Real face league leaders Girona on Saturday in a hotly anticipated clash before travelling to face Napoli in the Champions League.
