Arsenal fans ask ‘what are we getting punished for?’ as home kit for 2024/25 season is ‘leaked’

It's not the first time that they have got shirty this week

Their 3-2 North London derby win at Tottenham kept them a point ahead of Man City in the chase to be crowned champions.

It’s still all to play for over the upcoming weeks but Gooners have briefly switched their attention to next season already after spotting what is allegedly their new home kit.

Now fans have been less than impressed with this new number.

The renowned Footy Headlines dropped a front and back shot of what the jersey will look like.

It is largely white, with the sleeves covered by adidas’s three stripe logo in blue.

Then the centre, from top to bottom, of the front is red while the same colour also dons the back in a circular fashion.

And it did not take long for supporters to vent their dismay on social media.

“I'm not a huge fan,” responded one before saying: “Arguably our worst home kit in recent memory.”

Another asked: “What are we getting punished for?”

A third wrote: “It’s an absolutely horrendous kit and they should be ashamed.”

Another commented: “All I see is a big red bottle. Are planning to take the bottlers joke all the way to the title? That would be epic.”

A fifth wrote: “Someone made these on Microsoft Paint.”

A fellow Gooner asked: “What is this?”

“I really don’t like this kit, but I can see it becoming a classic,” a seventh said:

Another declared that “this will be a big disaster”.

A ruthless ninth wrote: “Literally the worst thing I've ever seen.”

While a tenth said: “Has to be a fan taking a p*** and surely not the real deal.”
