Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has sent a message to the north London side after returning to Hale End this week.

The Wales international is regarded by many as one of Arsenal’s best players in the 21st century, with Ramsey scoring two FA Cup-winning goals during his 11-year stint with the Gunners before moving on to Juventus in 2019.

Now back with his boyhood club Cardiff City, injuries have played their part in Ramsey’s career, who at Arsenal suffered a broken leg and other numerous issues that really stopped the midfielder from achieving his true potential.

Yet this week with the Championship season over, Ramsey has returned to Arsenal and to Hale End.

Legend Ramsey praises ‘class’ Arsenal after Hale End return

Taking to his official Instagram stories, Ramsey was full of praise for Arsenal after a day at Hale End with his kids, with the 33-year-old midfielder positing: “Great day for the Kids! Class as always.”

With Ramsey making 369 appearances for Arsenal and playing a pivotal role in two FA Cup finals, it’s no real surprise to see the Welsh international back at the club in some capacity with his season over.

Indeed, Ramsey’s departure to Juventus in 2019 was one that pained a lot of supporters given his cult status at the club as well as what was to happen to the midfielder after his move to Turin.

Yet seeing Ramsey back in north London is a pleasant sight for fans, and former teammate Mikel Arteta will also be pleased to see the Wales international back in the English capital at Hale End.

Ramsey could return to Hale End as an academy coach

Arsenal are no strangers under Arteta to welcoming former players back to help out with the academy, with Jack Wilshere impressing as U-18s manager with Per Mertesacker flourishing as head of the academy.

And once Ramsey retires from football, the midfielder could be offered a similar role at Arsenal, with the 33-year-old a figure who commands a lot of respect around the north London club.

Whether or not coaching is in Ramsey’s plans is up for debate, yet there’s no doubt that the former Arsenal hero would be welcome back at the club if he wished to return on the touchline.
