Arsenal will replace the club's current badge with a new streamlined version.
The Gunners have used two different badges on their home and away kits this season. Their red and white home shirt has the current iconography which has been used since the 2002/03 Premier League campaign.
However, their green third kit has seen them opt for a more streamlined badge which only features the club's cannon without the shield or the wording of the club. After their potential home kit for the 2024-25 season was leaked, fans saw it featured the new logo used on this season's away kit.

TNT SportAccording to The Athletic, those in charge of the club believe the most important part of the jersey is the cannon. It is this symbolic significance which Arsenal fans appreciate most so the board have decided to draw more attention to it.
This was also the case with their black away kit in the 2022-23 season, when the Gunners fell just short of winning their first Premier League title since 2004. It's a decision which has proven to be less controversial than their initial rebrand of the crest in 2002.

Arsenal supporters were incensed when several key features of the previous logo were scrapped to make it more streamlined. The cannon was flipped from west to east and many other artistic features were also binned.
The Arsenal motto "Victoria Concordia Crescit", which translates to "Victory Through Harmony", were removed from the emblem to the fury of supporters. Yet, this anger subsided and the logo has remained on all of their jerseys for the last 20 years.
They are not the only club who has looked to streamline their emblems. Juventus controversially overhauled their iconic logo by replacing almost every single aspect of the orIginal insignia in place for an artistic letter 'J' in 2019.
Luckily for Arsenal fans, they have not experienced anything close to the levels of vitriol the Turin giant's were lambasted with.
