Barcelona keeper Ter Stegen: Right for Araujo to be sent off

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen couldn't complain after their defeat to PSG.

Barca collapsed 4-1 at home in the second-leg of their quarterfinal, with Ronald Araujo sent off for the visitors. Barca were eliminated 6-4 on aggregate.

Ter Stegen said: "Very disappointed because in the end it had been possible today. Disappointment is the right word.

"We expected PSG like this. In the end you are left at half an hour with one less. I don't want to say that it was a mistake, he wanted to go for the ball. I think that if a foul is called he has to send him off and this has changed everything. You can call the foul on Araujo.

"If we don't concede in the 40th minute and go to half-time with 1-0, maybe we had a chance.

"When they scored the third against us we had to give more in the game and risk more. In the end they have a lot of quality up front and every chance is a danger. They scored four against us and it's hard to understand."
