Feyenoord chief declares move for Spurs winger Gil

Feyenoord director Dennis te Kloese has confirmed they are hoping to sign a Tottenham star.

The Eredivisie winners want to secure 23-year-old forward Bryan Gil in the summer.

Gil was a winter target for the Dutch club, but he chose to fight for his place at Tottenham.

"The fact that we are in the race for Gil has been the case for several transfer windows," Feyenoord director Dennis te Kloese told Rotterdam daily Algemeen Dagblad.

"We are looking again at what is possible. We offer a fantastic platform to give boys a good continuation of their career. Or to show themselves again.

“Gil is a good player, but there are many more clubs that are looking at that boy."
