Jürgen Klopp has made it clear that he's just a phone call away for the incoming Liverpool manager Arne Slot, should he wish to discuss the ins and outs of the squad he's inheriting. However, Klopp has no intention of imposing himself on any new staff member.

Klopp is set to step away from Anfield but believes the project he dubbed "Liverpool 2.0" won't conclude with his departure. Speaking about potential interactions with Slot, Klopp remarked: "It is not my decision.

"I am not in a position to give advice. When new people come in, if they want to know something they can call me — the whole world has my number.

"We can speak about absolutely everything, I love talking about everything in this club. I love talking with each person, it's no problem. But it's not about me or up to me to be available to ask he or she.

"It's no problem, I will give whatever I know about."

As Liverpool gears up for its second-to-last home match of the season against Tottenham, the dream of Klopp clinching the Premier League title in his final campaign seems distant. Yet, following Chelsea's victory over Spurs, Liverpool's spot in next season's Champions League is secured.

Klopp suggests that with the pressure now lifted, he's set to thoroughly enjoy his remaining trio of matches at the helm starting with Tottenham's visit, followed by an away game at Aston Villa, and culminating in a home fixture against Wolves.

"That's my idea definitely. It would be crazy if I wouldn't do it," he shared. "It needs a bit of convincing to be happy with Champions League qualification but it is still allowed.

"It doesn't help if you lose the next game, especially at home, and lose to Aston Villa and Wolves. So it's not enjoying in a way. It's football. The only way to enjoy football is if you win games and that is what we will try. That is why we train really."

"We prepare the boys, we use the time we have now, and let's see what we can do. But yes my plan is to enjoy it."

Even though clinching a spot in the Champions League may seem victorious, expectations were set on loftier achievements such as aiming for a quadruple, after securing the Carabao Cup in February and appearing on the brink of snatching up the title, FA Cup and Europa League.

However, bearing faith in his fresh-faced squad and a rejuvenated midfield, Klopp professes confidence in his successor carrying forward the work started by him and does not see his departure impacting the growth.

He continued: "We tried to win the league but it didn't work out, but you have to see it in the long term as well. Liverpool 2.0 does not end with me.

"It's just the new Liverpool. It's just the start, they can make the next steps."
