Arjen Robben sends Arsenal title message as he visits rivals Manchester City and Liverpool

Arjen Robben was in attendance at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday as Manchester City thrashed Wolves 5-1 to move back to within a point of Premier League leaders Arsenal

Former Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Chelsea winger Arjen Robben

Former Chelsea star Arjen Robben was spotted in Manchester City's dressing room following their 5-1 triumph over Wolves. The Dutchman, who played under Pep Guardiola in Germany, was there to congratulate the team and encourage them to keep up the pressure on Arsenal in the Premier League title race.

Erling Haaland netted four times and Julian Alvarez added another as City closed the gap on league leaders Arsenal to just one point. This marked their sixth consecutive win in the top flight, during which they've scored an impressive 24 goals, keeping Mikel Arteta's flying Gunners at bay for the time being.

Robben wasn't the only big name in attendance. After the final whistle, he was invited to meet the squad and celebrate their victory, reports Mail Sport.

Robben used his time in the dressing room at the Etihad Stadium to urge City to continue putting pressure on Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title. The league leaders have played a game more than Guardiola's men and are relying on City slipping up in at least one of their final three league matches.

The Dutch legend explored different parts of the UK's football scene during his recent weekend trip, including a visit to Anfield. He was spotted in the player area with his former Bayern teammate Thiago Alcantara, watching Liverpool secure a 4-2 victory over Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has stressed to his side that Arsenal will win the league if his side manage anything less than three wins over the final fortnight of the season. "The biggest importance is just two weeks left," he said after their win over Wolves. "Three games. Nine points we will be champions.

"[If we earn only] seven points, six points, three points, Arsenal will win the Premier League. Goal difference is not possible, we cannot draw. The way Arsenal have been playing has been so good and consistent."
