What Bukayo Saka did after huge Arsenal win vs Bournemouth that spoke volumes

Latest Arsenal news with Bukayo Saka on target and making a fans day with a classy gesture after the win over Bournemouth

Bukayo Saka scored for Arsenal in the 3-0 Premier League win against Bournemouth

Bukayo Saka stepped yet again for Arsenal in their 3-0 Premier League win against Bournemouth. The England international was key in the Gunners' North London Derby last weekend and he came up with another huge goal on Saturday.

A cagey opening 40 minutes resulted in nerves rising around Emirates Stadium, however, Saka proved to be the coolest man on the pitch as he calmly stroked home a penalty to put the hosts in front. The Cherries enjoyed some possession in the early stages of the second half but any concerns over letting their lead slip disappeared when Leandro Trossard curled home.

Declan Rice then made it three after making a surging run into the box which allowed him space to fire through the legs of Mark Travers. Following the dominant win and performance, which Saka starred in, Arteta offered his thoughts on the 22-year-old's form.

"I think the level of consistency compared to last year is very similar," the Arsenal boss said regarding Saka. "Probably there areas in the game he's become more effective in. I see a different edge to him in the way he competes. Not the way he plays but the way he competes.

"Also he loves winning more than three months ago, six months ago, a year ago. That's something that’s hopefully now in his system." Alongside his performances on the pitch, Saka continues to show the type of person he is with another moment showing exactly that at the end of the win against Bournemouth.

Just before heading down the tunnel, Saka approached a supporter and looked to hand over his match-worn boots to the young supporter.

The left shoe handed out helped Saka net his 20th goal of the season and he must keep up his impressive form heading into the final two games.

Following Manchester City's dominant victory over Wolves, Arsenal are top by just one point but that could change soon. The Gunners' remaining fixture are against Manchester United and Everton, while Man City still have to take on Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham with the extra game meaning the title race is in the hands of the reigning champions.
