Dutchman told to sign for Arsenal – Urged to pick move to Gunners over Real Madrid

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Joey Veerman should ignore potential interest from Real Madrid and instead join Arsenal.

That’s according to analyst Aad de Mos, who believes the midfielder is more than good enough to play for the Gunners despite their current crop of midfielder.

Veerman has been impressing again for PSV Eindhoven this season, with a record of six goals and 15 assists in all competitions certainly earning him attention.

He’s continued the impressive form he showed last season when he managed nine goals and 14 assists in 50 games.

Indeed, he has been posting good numbers for the Dutch side for several years, with a record of 21 goals and 36 assists in 111 games to date indicating he’s more than ready for a big move elsewhere.

He’s been regularly linked with a move as a result, with this summer likely to be the one in which his future in the Netherlands is really brought into question.

Whether any big sides come calling this summer remains to be seen and Aad de Mos believes the 25-year-old should be careful if they do, urging the player to consider rejecting the likes of Real Madrid in favour of a side like Arsenal.

“I think Veerman is a typical player for Arsenal,” he said.

“He is a different type than Taylor. The latter is also younger than Veerman. He has a great future and is now playing in a very bad team. Let everyone have their say. We will see in the long run.

“He has already played for the Dutch team, scored against Germany. He will make his minutes at the European Championship.

“They (Real Madrid) have a lot of good midfielders there at the moment. With those two French guys (Edouardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni) and of course Bellingham. He won’t play much there. I think it would be better for him to move to Arsenal.”
